Sightseeing Places to see in Adventurous Activities In Sikkim
Paragliding
Here are two kinds of paragliding flights. The first one is known as Medium Fly. If you opt for this option, you will be flying at a height of 1300 to 1400 metres and the duration is 5 to 10 minutes. From the medium-altitude, you will get to witness the Himalayan ranges as well as the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok.
Ropeway
It's a double-cable zig back ropeway which is operational since December 2003. Each cable car can carry up to 24 passengers. They do not always wait until the cable car is full. But during high tourist season, there are usually long queues and each ride gets full before it starts.
River Rafting
River Rangit and River Teesta have the best rapids in Sikkim, thus, allowing you to enjoy the thrill of the water. The Sikkim White river rafting scene is perfect for both the new rafters and the experts. The River Rangit has a good number of rapid and they vary in their speed and intensity.
Helicopter Ride
We all have had the dream of flying. We have often seen a bird and felt bad for not able to fly like that on this wide spread spectacular sky. Now we have helicopter to explore how it is like to fly on the sky. Helicopter rides are the most exciting thing to do. Yak Ride
Yak ride is a very popular tourist attraction of Tsomgo Lake which is popularly known as Changu Lake at Sikkim India. In this video I share my first yak ride experience at Changu Lake which is situated at distance of 35 kms from Gangtok on the Gangtok Nathula Highway.
